GATE 2018 exam will be organize by by IIT, Guwahati.  The examination date of GATE 2018 is 4th, 5th and 11th, 12th February 2018. The score card of GATE 2018 will be valid up to 3 years only from the date of result declaration. GATE 2018 will be administered jointly by IISc and 7 other IITs (Roorkee, Guwahati, Delhi, Kharagpur, Mumbai, Kanpur and Madras). IIT, Guwahati is the organizing institute of GATE 2018.
Nowadays GATE exam is a computer based test (CBT). The main reason behind introducing this system was to speed up the whole examination process as well as to increase transparency in selection process. This year also GATE office is going to conduct an online examination for all branches. Nearly 10 lakh candidates will appear for this exam.
